Job summary

Retail Insights, part of United Media, is seeking a Venture Development Manager to lead growth for its London-based conferences division. You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, execute rapid strategy, and expand the brand as the go-to platform for inspiration, knowledge and networking.

Expect travel for overseas conferences and a competitive salary. Requires 4+ years in top-tier environments and a Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus).

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience from a high-speed, results-driven institution (consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate or startup).
• Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results; MBA may follow.
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UK, EU or US work permit.

The Opportunity.

As a Venture Development Manager, you will run, grow and manage all aspects of Retail Insights. You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class team, ensuring the successful execution of the conference and strategy of the brand.

Requirement

• +4 years’ experience from an institution with high speed and work ethic e.g. management consulting, investment banking, top-tier corporate or start-up.
• Bachelor’s degree with outstanding results, maybe followed by an MBA
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for business.

• Proven track record delivering results.
