Job Title: Ventilation Technician
Location: Ilford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a driven and experienced Ventilation Technician, with a good work ethic and proven technical knowledge. Ideally, we are seeking candidates with good access to the M25. You will be joining a busy and reputable Air Hygiene / Fire Compliance company, who have a strong presence across the region and prestigious client contracts. Experience / Qualifications

• Strong experience working as a Ventilation Technician
• Ideally will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket
• Working knowledge of BS9999 and TR19 guidelines
• Experience working across a range of client sites, including: commercial, high security and public sector
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• IT literate
• Able to travel in line with company requirements

The Role

• Carrying out thorough inspections and testing of Fire Dampers
• Cleaning of ductwork, AHU, kitchen extracts and canopies
• Inspecting ductwork to ensure compliance
• Fitting of access doors
• Making technical recommendations for remedial works
• Producing regular service reports, including pre and post work photographs
• Representing the company in a professional manner
• Maintaining excellent levels of service
