Job description

We are recruiting for a Ventilation Engineer, with a robust and flexible skillset, able to undertake a wide range of duties. You will be joining a well-established and reputable Duct / Air Hygiene specialist, with a busy client portfolio across the Midlands region. The role will involve routine inspections and testing of Fire Dampers as well as conducting thorough servicing and cleaning regimes across various ventilation systems. Experience / Qualifications

• Must have strong experience undertaking the inspection, servicing and testing of ventilation systems and fire dampers
• Will ideally hold some industry qualifications / training, such as: BS9999 and / or BESA in Air Hygiene
• Excellent understanding of industry safety and compliance guidelines, including TR19 standards
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Regularly producing detailed service reports
• Flexible to travel as required

The Role

• You will be travelling to a range of commercial, manufacturing, food & beverage and public sector client sites, undertaking a wide variety of duties to maintain safety and compliance within ventilation systems and ductwork
• Fire damper inspections and testing as well as drop tests
• Servicing and cleaning of AHUs
• Thorough cleans of ductwork, kitchen canopies and kitchens
• Installations of access doors
• Working as part of a team to deliver projects on time
• Updating logbooks and completing regular service reports
• Travelling as per client needs
