Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic Driver/Valeter to ensure vehicles are presented in top condition. The role suits someone who enjoys active, physical work and works well in a team environment.

Training is provided to develop valet skills and safety awareness. You will handle cleaning, exterior washing, interior vacuuming and detailing, using polishing tools, while adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.
• Valet experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Clean vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors.
• Use polishing/buffing machine for bodywork enhancement.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures around chemicals.
• Maintain equipment and report defects and PPE compliance.
• Work to set timeframes and targets.
• Complete a daily record of work.
• Support the branch with additional duties as required.
