Job summary

Logic 360 Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Trimmer for a temporary position in Thurleigh. You will join an experienced bodyshop team and work under the supervision of the Bodyshop Manager to ensure vehicles are finished to the highest standard for customers.

Key duties include vehicle preparation for paint (masking, priming, sanding, cleaning panels), ensuring defect-free panels, supporting other workshop areas and helping train junior team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bodyshop role with at least 1 year working on vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Willing to support junior cosmetic technicians and share expertise as needed.
• Passionate about the motor industry and delivering high-standard work for customers.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and make decisions when required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paint, including masking, priming, sanding and cleaning panels.
• Ensuring there are no defects on prepared panels.
• Supporting other areas of the workshop where needed.
• Assisting with training of junior team members.

Salary:£17.00 per hour

Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Trimmer to join their team.
Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing vehicles for paint This will include masking, priming, sanding, and cleaning panels.
• Ensuring that there are no defects on the prepared panels.
• Supporting other areas of the workshop where needed.
• Assisting with the training of junior members of the team.

Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a Bodyshop. Minimum 1 year.
• Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• Willing to support junior cosmetic technicians and offer support/expertise when needed.
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in your work, to the highest standards of work set by customers.
• You will need to work independently and as part of a team on vehicles and have experience to make your own decisions when required.
