Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will join a main dealership with a requirement of at least one year's workshop experience and a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.

The role offers up to £40,000 basic plus bonus and overtime, with hours Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. A well-stocked toolbox and strong fault-finding skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year's experience in a vehicle workshop.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.
• Experience working on brakes, suspension, clutches and cambelts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete necessary repairs.
• Repair and replace braking system components.
• Carry out suspension repairs and component replacements.
• Diagnose and replace faulty clutch components.
• Complete cambelt replacements.
• Maintain accurate service records and high workshop safety standards.
