Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is partnering with a major UK defence contractor to recruit a Level 3 Vehicle Technician in Lyneham, with a clear progression path to Trainer. The role offers funded qualifications, progression routes, 25 days holiday, and excellent company benefits.

You will deliver hands-on training to military students, deliver pre-set lesson plans, train and assess learners, and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes.

Qualifications

• Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with hands-on experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in automotive discipline required.
• Keen to progress into a Trainer/Instructor role.
• Commutable to Lyneham.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-set course materials.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess military students results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon – Fri, 37 hour week.
