Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Solihull is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards in a busy dealership workshop.

You will diagnose faults with modern diagnostic equipment, carry out repairs efficiently, and record all work accurately while working safely as part of a professional team. The role offers uncapped earning potential via bonus, overtime, 31–33 days holiday and a clear path for progression within a growing dealer group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, ideally in a dealership.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Ensure all work is recorded accurately in company systems.
• Work safely as part of a professional workshop team.
