Job summary

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a client near Romsey. The successful applicant will work on the service and repair of vehicles in a busy dealership environment.

Role requires MOT testing experience, a valid MOT Tester Licence and a Full UK Driving Licence. You will interact with customers, perform MOT rectification as needed, and ensure compliance with VOSA standards.

Qualifications

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment currently seek an experienced Vehicle Technician for a client of ours based near Romsey.

Our client is an established independent dealership who specialise in the sale and service of used vehicles. Due to continued success, they now seek an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Undertake basic repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

MOT testing.

Hold a valid MOT Tester Licence

Have previous working experience within an MOT Tester role

A Full UK Driving Licence

The ability to communicate with customers effectively

A sound Mechanical knowledge

Carrying out MOT Failure rectification work as and when required

Ensuring VOSA standards are met at all times

Package:

£27,000-£35,000 Basic Salary + Overtime Bonus - Dependent on experience

Monday to Friday + Saturday Work (Rota)
