Job summary

Lakaz Maurice is seeking a skilled vehicle technician for our independent repair centre on the outskirts of Winchester. You will repair and service cars and light commercial vehicles, diagnose additional faults, and ensure compliance with safety and manufacturer guidelines.

You should have experience in diagnostics and comfort with hybrids/air conditioning; electrics experience is a plus, and welding skills are desirable. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary and regular overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle diagnostics, hybrids and air conditioning would be preferred but not essential.
• Vehicle electrics experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Welding experience would be preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles, both cars and LCVs.
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines.
