Job summary

Vertu Kia Edinburgh is hiring a Vehicle Technician. This role offers a basic salary between £29,200 and £49,780, based on skills and experience, for a 42-hour week with an attractive over-performance bonus.

You can also earn a £2,000 sign-on bonus, plus a further £2,000 after 12 months. Responsibilities include maintenance, servicing, repairs and inspections to manufacturer standards, with opportunities for training and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) is required.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician is required.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.
• Own tools and a full UK driving licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform inspections and ensure vehicles leave the workshop in excellent condition.
• Work efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver first-time fixes and uphold the quality of work.
