Halfords Garage Services is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre, equipped with the latest facilities to deliver top‑tier customer service and a great working environment.

You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and handle a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, from advanced diagnostics to routine services, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring high-quality work.
• Support a first-class customer experience and safety on the road.
