Job summary

Renault Swansea workshop is recruiting a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester. This manufacturer-owned dealership offers a modern workshop, advanced diagnostic equipment and structured Renault training to support your technical development.

The role is 40 hours per week with a base salary of £38,000 per year and achievable OTE of £43,700. Overtime is uncapped and a Saturday rota may apply; a Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification is expected and MOT Tester licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Level 3 IMI or NVQ equivalent in Motor Vehicle discipline.
• Experience in servicing, repairs and diagnostics in a professional workshop.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Undertake diagnostic, fault-finding and electrical repair activities.
• Complete MOT testing where qualified.
• Follow workshop processes and health & safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles as part of diagnosis and quality control.
