Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

The role offers a base salary with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme, OTE up to £42,800, and strong development opportunities within the UK’s leading automotive service network.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and vehicle maintenance/repair work.
• Perform diagnostics and routine servicing to high standards.
• Ensure all jobs are completed safely and to manufacturer specifications.
