Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking an experienced MOT Tester/Technician for a new brand in our used car division in Royton. The role involves vehicle maintenance, MOT testing, and customer-facing service to uphold high quality standards.

You will diagnose faults using computer-based tools, perform repairs, and support other technicians. A valid MOT license is advantageous and proven workmanship is essential. 40 hours per week with a Sunday rota and mid-week day off.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting MOT tests and vehicle servicing.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance and repair on various makes/models.
• Inspect engine and components to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing and ensure documentation is complete.
