Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, delivering high-quality workmanship.

We offer a base salary of £38,000–£40,000 with on-target earnings up to £45,000 and an uncapped monthly bonus averaging around £5,000 per year, plus training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair work
• Diagnose issues and carry out repairs to high standards

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
