Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester - Heathfield

We are a well‑established independent workshop looking for two skilled people: an experienced Vehicle Technician and a qualified MOT Tester.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am‑5:30pm, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests (MOT Tester role) in line with DVSA standards.
• Handle complex repairs including engine rebuilds, cambelts, and clutches (Vehicle Technician role).
• Maintain accurate paperwork and uphold workshop quality standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Valid MOT licence (MOT Tester position).
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• A team player with a genuine passion for quality workmanship.

Salary and Benefits

• Vehicle Technician – up to £45,000, depending on experience.
• MOT Tester – £35,000‑£40,000.
• Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑5:30pm.
• No weekends.
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
