Vehicle Technician – Lindley's, Nottingham

Role Overview

Experienced Vehicle Technician – responsibilities include daily servicing, repair and MOT duties, detailed Vehicle Health Checks, ensuring timely and safe completion of work, effective communication with the front-of-house team, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT tests to a high standard
• Perform detailed Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
• Ensure all work is completed on time, safely, and professionally
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Qualified MOT Tester (Essential)
• Level 3 Automotive Qualification (Preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)

• Right to work in the UK, New Naylor Garage is looking for a vehicle mechanic/technician. Duties to include service, repairs and diagnostics on cars and light commercials. Valid MOT tester essential. Must be able to work as a team and on own initiative. We are a small friendly family run independent garage, full-time, permanent. We are currently recruiting for a full time, experienced Vehicle Technician. Applicants must have: Experience in a similar role, a full driving licence, MOT tester an advantage (not essential), and the ability to work well within a small team. Good rates of pay and an opportunity to benefit from a time served Vehicle Technician with a good understanding of modern vehicle systems. Ability to carry out MOT Tests, vehicle servicing and fault finding diagnosis is required. Good all-round Technician, to carry out servicing and repairs to a wide variety of cars and light commercials, all manner of repairs, including clutch, timing belts, cylinder head gaskets, diagnosing faults. 3 years practical experience preferred. Computer literate.
