Overview

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Didcot, Oxfordshire. Monday - Friday (14:00–22:00) + overtime. Salary: 25.00 - 35.00 per hour (Inside IR35). 6 Month Contract (+ Extension or Temp to Perm).

Are you a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic with a NVQ level 3 qualification looking for your next immediately available contract role that is likely to be extended or go temp to perm?

My client is one of the UK\'s leading companies that specialise in Servicing, Repair & Maintenance work of Ambulances & Blue Light Vehicles. Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire this organisation works to ensure that all emergency vehicles in the Oxfordshire county are operating at the highest level. They invest in latest kit and staff; Vehicle Technicians are put through MOT courses, level 3 maintenance of electric vehicles and many more.

In this role you will be carrying servicing, repair & maintenance of a variety of emergency service vehicles ranging from Mercedes Sprinter Vans, Ford Mondeos, Skoda Superb & many more.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a variety of emergency service vehicles.
• 14:00–22:00, Monday – Friday, with guaranteed overtime available.
• Excellent working conditions.

Requirements

• Level 3 in a relevant subject to vehicle technician / mechanic.
• Experience in a Vehicle / LGV / HGV Technician or Car Mechanic role.
• Lives commutable to Didcot.
