Job description
Overview

This position is offered on a full-time working contract. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (with occasional overtime as required). Please note: We do not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  2. Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  3. Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
  4. Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working in the workshop.
  7. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service to customers.
What We’re Looking For
  1. NVQ Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle, Car Mechanic Repair or equivalent.
  2. Time-served mechanics with strong references will also be considered.
  3. MOT certification is desirable.
  4. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle repair.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  7. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  8. A valid driving licence is a must.
  9. Must have own tools.
Experience
  • Vehicle technician: 2 years (required)
