Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy Essex dealership. You will service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles, delivering quality workmanship, safety standards and customer service in a supportive team.

The role requires Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, experience as a technician, and a focus on accurate write-ups and health checks. MOTs are beneficial; weekend rota may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and reliability as a team member.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is required.
• Familiarity with servicing, diagnostics and warranty operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of vehicles.
• Complete diagnostic, warranty and manufacturer-related work.
• Perform oil changes, cambelt replacements and other mechanical repairs.
• Complete digital write-ups and job cards accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs).
• Diagnose faults and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain workshop efficiency.
