Job summary

Octane Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and well-established main dealership in Dover. This is a great chance to work with one of the UK's largest dealer groups, with ongoing training, benefits and clear career progression.

You will service, diagnose and repair to manufacturer standards, perform health checks and road tests as required, and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & repair qualification or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Carry out road tests before and after repairs where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Complete workshop paperwork and job cards accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of workmanship.
