The role offers a basic salary up to £45,000, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, no weekend work, with opportunities for further training including Hybrid/EV, MOT licences, and career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a workshop.
• Time-served technicians without formal qualifications are welcome.
• Valid MOT Licence is desirable.
• Own tools required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults accurately using manufacturer standards.
• Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles, mainly cars, with occasional vans.
• Conducting MOTs (if MOT Licence held) and recording vehicle conditions comprehensively.
• Maintaining current repair and maintenance records.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and performance standards are met during all work performed.
• Assist in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
