A market leader in vehicle remarketing is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Whetsted, England. In this role, you will perform mechanical repairs on wholesale remarketing vehicles. Qualifications

  • Must hold Level 3 Mechanical Technician certification.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.

Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

We're proud to be representing a market leader in European vehicle remarketing in their search for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will assess, recommend, and complete mechanical repairs to enhance the value of wholesale remarketing vehicles.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods (e.g., Cambelts, Clutches, Wheel alignment, general wear and tear, and MOT failure work).
  • Work productively, ensuring repairs are completed within deadlines and prioritising work to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Highlight when repairs are not possible or when an alternative, more cost-effective solution is required.
  • Maintain a high attention to detail and rigorously follow standard operating procedures, ensuring documentation is completed accurately.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
  • Undertake other duties as requested by your manager.
You Must Have
  • Experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician certification.
  • A broad understanding of cars, with the ability to observe, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults, and conduct vehicle servicing.
  • A clear team ethic, focusing on immediate technical tasks while understanding that achieving the business's overall goals requires teamwork across all departments.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
