Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician for a leading workshop in Andover. The role is days-based, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with no shifts and optional premium overtime.

You will service and maintain a range of HGVs and LCVs, undertake engine rebuilds and repairs, with training, development and clear progression paths in a high-end environment. Salary ranged £40,000–£50,000 with generous holiday and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HGVS/LGVs/PCVs or REME/ex-forces backgrounds.
• Strong mechanical skills and fault finding.
• Willing to work 1 in 3 Saturdays overtime.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a variety of HGVs/LCVs.
• Carry out technical repairs and engine rebuilds when needed.
• Work 1 in 3 Saturdays with overtime to boost earnings.
