A family-run independent repair center is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their long-standing team. The role involves servicing and diagnostics on vehicles, maintaining high standards, and ensuring quality.   • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within set timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold workshop quality standards.

Kolt Recruitment are recruiting for an established, family‑run independent mechanical and accident repair centre that is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their long‑standing team. Celebrating over 75 years of success, the business operates a busy workshop carrying out MOTs, servicing, diagnostics and body repairs. The site includes fully equipped panel and paint shops, an MOT bay, and a service workshop, offering excellent facilities and ongoing manufacturer‑approved training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on cars and light commercial vehicles
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within set timeframes
  • Work confidently both independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold workshop quality standards
  • Support MOT testing if qualified (not essential)
Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Auto Technician
  • Strong diagnostic knowledge, including the use of PC and tablet‑based systems
  • High level of artistry and attention to detail
