Qualifications

• Prior practical Workshop experience is essential.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence is required.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a franchise-approved Car Dealership, located in Wantage.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements

• Withhold at least an IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualification.
• Prior practical Workshop experience.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £45,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1-in-3 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm (paid as overtime).
