Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is hiring a Vehicle Technician for the St Helens area. You will perform servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards, ensuring roadworthy vehicles and customer satisfaction. The role offers full-time permanent employment with a clear career path.

Ideal candidates have a Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds, at least 3 years in a workshop, and a full UK driving license. An MOT license is a plus, but not required.

• At least 3 years of practical workshop experience.
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points).
• MOT license preferable but not essential.

Overview

Vehicle Technician – St Helens. On Target Earnings: £42,500 (depending on experience). Full-Time - Permanent – Ford / St Helens. Pentagon Motor Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to carry out general servicing and maintenance on vehicles with basic diagnostic skills, join a supportive team, and progress your career with an established brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
