Job Title: Vehicle Technician (Fast Fit)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fast Fit Technician to join our busy automotive workshop. The successful candidate will carry out a range of fast-fit services efficiently and to the highest standards, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tyre fitting, wheel balancing, and wheel alignment.
  • Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Carry out battery testing and replacement, exhaust repairs, and basic suspension work.
  • Undertake vehicle health checks and report any additional work required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to all health & safety policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a fast fit, tyre, or service centre environment.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
