Job summary

Russell Taylor Group partners with a premier Midlands automotive main dealer in Nottingham seeking Vehicle Technicians at all levels to join a fast-moving workshop. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, warranty work and safety checks with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Ideally you hold NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and a professional approach to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance required.
• Strong understanding of routine mechanical repairs and servicing.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales.
• Excellent presentation and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance work on vehicles in the workshop.
• Perform routine servicing and warranty approved work.
• Carry out electrical/hydraulic fault diagnosis as qualified.
• Conduct MOT tests if qualified and safety/performance checks.

Job description

We're currently collaborating with one of the most well-established automotive main dealers in the Midlands, who are looking for all levels of Vehicle Technicians to join their high-pace, high-performance dealership based in Nottingham.

Vehicle Technicians play a crucial role in the dealership, carrying out vital repair and maintenance to all vehicles that come into the workshop. This is inclusive of, but not limited to routine maintenance, MOT tests (if qualified), electrical/hydraulic fault diagnosis, warranty approved work and safety/performance checks.

We're looking for individuals who possess a strong understanding of mechanical repairs, good communication skills and an excellent level of attention to detail. You will have a professional approach towards both your customers and colleagues and take pride in the work that you will be assigned to complete.

The Requirements

• NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
• Strong understanding of routine mechanical repairs & servicing
• Ability to work under pressure to given timescales
• Highly motivated with an excellent level of presentation skills
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
