Qualifications

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a dealership or similar environment.
  • Good technical knowledge.
  • Valid driving license.

  • Adhere to manufacturers' scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
  • Record details of diagnosis and work completed.

We are working with a franchised volume brand dealership in Newport, Wales, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The role offers a basic salary between £28,000 and £35,000, with an average bonus of £6,000, and excellent opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standards.
  2. Carry out all work effectively, adhering to manufacturers' scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
  3. Record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components used in line with group and manufacturer standards.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of experience after qualification in a dealership or similar environment.
  • Good technical knowledge.
  • Valid driving license.
