Job summary

Vertu Jaguar Land Rover Nelson is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to support customers across the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges. The role offers manufacturer training including EV and electrical training and a clear accreditation pathway.

You'll perform maintenance and diagnostics with precision, bringing current hands-on experience and your own tools to a premium brand environment. A full UK driving licence is required for service work at the Nelson dealership.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience as Vehicle Technician, ideally in a main dealership environment.
• Own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.

Job description

This is your chance to work at the sharp end of premium automotive technology, supporting vehicles that demand precision, expertise and pride in workmanship. You will build specialist knowledge across advanced diagnostics, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric technology, backed by manufacturer training as Jaguar Land Rover continues to innovate for the future. Ongoing Manufacturer Training You will have access to manufacturer-specific training, including dedicated EV and electrical training, supporting you to remain at the forefront of technical developments within the automotive sector. If you hold a nationally recognised Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, your experience and qualifications will be reviewed by JLR during onboarding. Following this review, JLR will provide an accreditation pathway to support you towards Level 2 qualified status. If you hold Master Technician certification, JLR will also review your experience and support you through the relevant accreditation pathway towards JLR Level 4 qualified status.

• Service and Maintenance Technician: up to £35,000
• Service and Diagnostic Technician: up to £37,400
• Senior Technician: up to £39,800
• Master Technician: up to £44,600

We also offering a £3000 sign-on bonus.
