Job summary

A growing automotive workshop in Matlock is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 basic with OTE of £35,000, alongside benefits such as fully funded training, life insurance, and staff discounts. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing various vehicles, conducting MOTs, and performing diagnostic tests. Candidates must have an NVQ Level 2-3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2-3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
• Prior experience in fast-fit and mechanical repairs.
• Current and valid UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct fast-fit based tasks and MOT Testing.
• Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• Conducting fast-fit based tasks
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements

• An NVQ Level 2-3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Prior working experience conducting fast-fit and mechanical repairs.
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £30,000 basic with OTE of £35,000.

Hours of work for this Service Technician role are Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a rota.
