Job summary

A prestigious automotive recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Manchester. This role offers a basic salary of £30-35k with an OTE of £35k - £40k. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining product knowledge. A full UK driving licence and strong communication skills are required. This is a full-time permanent position.

Vehicle Technician

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 3 Saturdays (half day)

Our client, a prestige Motor Trade main dealer group in the Manchester area, is on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. If you hold the right experience – this could be your next role!

Duties & Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out servicing, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles to excellent standards.
  • Delivering exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
  • Being part of a team and bringing a high attention to detail.
  • Providing your technical expert opinion to customers.
Your Background & Skill:
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or independent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
