Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Handle all vehicles carefully while maintaining safety standards.

  • Support colleagues and line managers in timely work completion.
  • Assist with car loading during events.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician within a workshop located in Llandow. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Performance / Classic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits
  • Starting salary between £30-40,000 per annum, pending experience, plus bonus scheme/overtime.
  • Additional overtime in the form of evenings is available as and when, with rates of pay being paid over and above!!
  • 28 days annual leave. Bank holidays are considered a working day unless booked off (other than Christmas Day & Boxing Day).
  • Workplace pension scheme.
  • Company support in any additional technical training and development.
  • Working hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events (1 weekday and 2 weekend days) a year are contracted with expenses paid.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times, including the use of special and personal tools.
  • Liaise with partners and suppliers to attain suitable parts at reasonable prices and, especially, delivered on time.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
  • Work with/support workshop colleagues and line managers to ensure everything is done on time.
  • Assist with car loading and unloading during event periods.
Requirements
  • To be eligible, an IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be mandatory.
  • A current and valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
  • Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
  • Your own Vehicle Technician tools alongside several years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician working on a diverse variety of vehicles.
  • The salary of this role is up to £45,000 basic.
Hours of work

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
