Up to 36000 DOE with OTE of 42000

Here at Kamro we have partnered up with a Premium Dealership for used cars based in Leeds who are on the lookout for their next Vehicle Technician

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for a mix of servicing fault‑finding repairs and more in‑depth mechanical work such as cambelts and timing chains. Diagnostics will also be part of your day‑to‑day with the opportunity to work across a wide range of vehicles. It’s a hands‑on role where practical skills and good judgement are equally valued.

About the Client

Our client is an independent dealership and garage with more than 30 years in the motor trade. They understand that buying a car and keeping it running well is an important decision and they take pride in making the whole process as straightforward as possible. Their approach is simple: keep things honest and make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible whether you’re buying a car or booking it in for service or getting routine work done.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

No weekend work!

Key Duties
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
  • Undertake mechanical repairs including brakes, cambelts and timing chains.
  • Perform diagnostics and resolve faults across a variety of makes and models.
  • Maintain accurate records of work and ensure high workshop standards.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a mechanic / Vehicle Technician (essential).
  • Strong diagnostic ability and confidence with mechanical repairs.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a close‑knit team.
  • A practical straightforward approach with pride in quality workmanship.
  • MOT License (no essential).
