Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Dealer workshop in Kidderminster.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.
  • Work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Always maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers as required.
  • Meet workshop targets and deadlines consistently.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in the automotive industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • No previous criminal convictions.
  • MOT licence beneficial but not essential.

The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with an OTE £45,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (paid at 1.5x).
