Job summary

A leading automotive service company in Ipswich is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to perform servicing and complex repairs on vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience, and a full driver's license. Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent or time served experience.
• Must have a full driver's license with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work and more complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles including complex tasks like clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Conduct diagnostics in vehicle electrics, brake steering, and suspension systems.

Skills

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience

Full driver's license with no more than 9 points

Ability to carry out diagnostic work

Experience in complex repairs and replacements

Job description

• £34,000 per annum
• Average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year (with potential to earn more)
