Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a reputable local employer located in Horley. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits
  • Competitive basic salary up to £35,000
  • Realised OTE of up to £38,000 with bonuses and overtime
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 am to 17:30 pm (some flexibility available)

Duties
  • Diagnosing and reporting vehicle faults accurately
  • Conducting Service, Maintenance, and Repairs, including cambelts and clutches on a variety of vehicles and light vans
  • Performing MOT tests according to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles’ safety and compliance
  • Communicating test results clearly to customers and maintaining precise records
  • Always adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification; time-served experience is highly valued
  • Proven experience working on different makes and models, including vans and fleet vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and development, with a positive attitude towards training opportunities
