Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs to prescribed standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different teams.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and technical developments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Communicate effectively with Service Reception and Workshop Control teams.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of work.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge.
• Replace components and rectify faults on customer vehicles.
• Occasionally speak with customers to provide expert technical advice.
• Use specialist equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain exceptionally high customer service levels.

Vehicle Technician - Guildford
Salary: £30,000 - £48,800 OTE (depending on experience) | Full-time, 42.5 hrs/week
Every one in three Saturdays paid as overtime

A well-established, multi-franchise dealership in Guildford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the team. Technicians will be aligned to a pay banding depending on current certified levels:

• Improver / 1st Year Qualified - £30,000
• Maint Tech - £32,000
• Service / Systems Tech - £35,000
• Diag Tech - £38,000
• Super Diag Tech - £42,000

All bandings include a productivity “time saved” bonus plan, uncapped.

Job Purpose

To maintain, inspect, repair, and test customers' vehicles to prescribed standards in line with Department for Transport, manufacturer, and Operator licence criteria.

Key Responsibilities
