Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Location: Corby

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off 7:00am to 7:00pm

Salary: £36,728.23 per annum

About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy site in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a wide range of vehicles, carrying out diagnostics and mechanical repairs to a high standard.

Youll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired, and prepared efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical repairs in line with approved methods (e.g. cambelts, clutches, wheel alignment, MOT failure work, and general wear and tear).
  • Diagnose and resolve faults, recommending the most effective solutions.
  • Work productively to ensure all repairs are completed within set deadlines.
  • Mainta‑in high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Escalate where repairs may not be viable or could be completed more cost‑effectively.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe, following all health & safety procedures.
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
Skills & Experience
  • Level 3 qualified Mechanical Technician (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently across a range of vehicles.
  • A proactive, team‑focused attitude with the ability to balance technical tasks with wider business needs.
