Job summary

Mr Clutch Autocentres Ltd is seeking a qualified vehicle technician/mechanic to join our team. You will repair and service a wide range of vehicles to our exacting standards, test and diagnose faults, and document findings with clear reports.

You may also undertake road tests where required and act as a brand ambassador for the company. We offer an outstanding bonus scheme, ongoing training, and clear progression within a nationwide, family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Qualified vehicle technician with hands-on experience in servicing and repairing vehicles.
• Must be able to diagnose faults and repair to high standards.
• Ideally hold a current driving licence for road testing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing to highest standards and specifications.
• Test and diagnose faults and provide written reports on defects.
• Examine vehicles and report on defects or impending failures.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.

We have a fabulous opportunity for a qualified and highly skilled Vehicle Technician/mechanic to join our friendly team., As a skilled vehicle technician/mechanic you will be responsible for repairing and servicing motor vehicles of all types in accordance with Company standards in a safe and efficient manner. Similarly, you will test and diagnose faults, providing written reports on component defects and/or systems with impending failure.

Purpose of Job

• You will be required to carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification
• You will be required to test and diagnose faults
• You will be required to examine vehicles, recognise and provide a written report on vehicle (or component) defects or systems of impending failure
• You will be required to ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others
• You will be required to act as a brand ambassador
