A well renowned dealership in Eastbourne is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification. This role offers an above market salary of up to £60,000 per annum, along with 25 days of paid holiday and a company pension scheme. Vehicle Technician (Mechanic) role at Pembrook Resourcing for our client, a well renowned dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles.
  • Plan and schedule repair procedures.
  • Explain to customers the work recommended/completed.
  • Test functionality of vehicle parts and systems.
  • Perform vehicle service & maintenance tasks (e.g oil changes, tyre rotation).
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
You will need
  • At least 2 years experience within a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic role
  • Have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools
