Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager, as a Vehicle Technician you will:
- Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on vehicles as instructed, to the standards laid down by the manufacturer.
- Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
- Uphold quality workmanship and Health & Safety (HSE) procedures related to the task at hand at all times.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum).
- At least several years of practical experience post-qualification within a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician.
- Desirable: active MOT License in Class 4/7 vehicles (non-essential).
- UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Committed team player able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and motivated to work toward team targets.
Work Schedule
Mon to Fri 8:00am–5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm.
