Qualifications

  • Active MOT License in Class 4/7 vehicles (non-essential).
  • UK driving licence with minimal points.

Vehicle Technician required in Abingdon.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager, as a Vehicle Technician you will:

  • Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on vehicles as instructed, to the standards laid down by the manufacturer.
  • Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
  • Uphold quality workmanship and Health & Safety (HSE) procedures related to the task at hand at all times.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum).
  • At least several years of practical experience post-qualification within a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Desirable: active MOT License in Class 4/7 vehicles (non-essential).
  • UK driving licence with minimal points.
  • Committed team player able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and motivated to work toward team targets.
Work Schedule

Mon to Fri 8:00am–5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm.

Reporting to the Service Manager, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on our client’s vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturer. You need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. You will also need to ensure that quality workmanship and Health & Safety (HSE) procedures relating to the task at hand are adhered to at all times.
