Join Our Client's Team as a Vehicle Technician in Swindon. Our client, a reputable independent family-run garage based in Swindon, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work within a modern workshop environment, delivering outstanding service to customers.

Duties

• Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Ensure accurate fault identification and communicate findings to the Business Owner
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and quality standards
• Assist at the front desk with booking in/out vehicles and handling customer queries as needed
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy workshop setting
• Work proactively towards team targets and deliver excellent customer service

Specification (Qualifications and Experience)

• Ideally, fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• 2-3 years of post-qualification technical experience preferred; however, experienced, time-served Vehicle Technicians with strong mechanical skills are encouraged to apply
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to produce high-quality work
• Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles or an active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
• A team player eager to develop their skills and grow within a supportive environment
