Vehicle Technician – Leeds

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, Saturday mornings as required (42.5 hours per week).

Salary: £37,570 per annum.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our client’s reputable site in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of light commercial vehicles. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions.
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised.
  • Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies and repair methods.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a vehicle technician or relevant qualifications.
