Job summary

A leading automotive service company in Chichester is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to perform servicing and complex repairs. Candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience and possess strong diagnostic and mechanical skills. Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent or time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work and complex repair and replacements.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
• Carry out complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brakes, steering and suspension systems.

Skills

Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

Full drivers licence with no more than 9 points

Diagnostic work experience (brakes, steering/suspension, engine)

Job description

• £30,339 - £34,700per annum
• Average uncapped bonus of £4,800 per year (with potential to earn more)
• 5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays)

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You’ll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
