Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. in Bognor Regis is seeking an experienced Master Technician / Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester) to join a busy, independent workshop.

You will service, repair and diagnose vehicles, perform MOT tests, and uphold high standards in a supportive environment. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–5:30pm) with two Saturdays per month, 20 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and a basic salary of £36,000–£38,000 plus an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Master Technician / Vehicle Technician.
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Qualified MOT Tester.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
• Complete MOT tests to required standards.
• Undertake vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Work to high industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete job cards and maintain accurate workshop records.
• Support the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service.
