Job summary

A major automotive service company in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Vehicle Technician to carry out diagnostics and complex repairs in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and possess a full driver's license. Competitive salary ranging from £30,339 to £33,954 plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits package including annual leave and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work and more complex repair.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work.
• Carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. You’ll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.

Skills And Experience

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical)
