Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Bexhill-on-Sea is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician (Mechanic). You will service, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to high standards. This role offers a competitive salary up to £60,000 annually, inclusive of bonus/overtime, along with 25 days paid holiday and a company pension scheme. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years experience and a Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds certification. Strong customer service skills are essential.

Vehicle Technician (Mechanic)

You’ll use your proven previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic to service, diagnose, maintain, and repair customers’ vehicles to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles.
  • Plan and schedule repair procedures.
  • Explain to customers the work recommends/completed.
  • Test functionality of vehicle parts and systems.
  • Perform vehicle service & maintenance tasks (e.g oil changes, tyre rotation).
  • Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
You will need
  • At least 2 years experience within a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic role.
  • A minimum of Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds Certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of diagnostic tools.
